What is a professionalisation contract?

Last update: Tuesday, Dec 24, 2024

The professionalisation contract is an employment contract between an employer and an employee. It's a contract that allows you to combine theory and practice.

You are an employee of the company and are paid a percentage of the minimum wage (between 55% and 100%) depending on your age, initial level and the minimum collective agreement.

The professionalisation contract may be concluded in the form of a fixed-term contract (CDD) or an open-ended contract (CDI).

The duration of the contract must be between 6 and 12 months, and may be extended to 24 months depending on the branch agreement and the collective agreement.
