The second foreign language (LV2) oral exam lasts 40 minutes, including 20 minutes of preparation.

The candidate works on a press article in the language they have chosen, dealing with a general, national, or international topic. They are asked to present, in the language of the document, a summary of what they have read and understood, followed by a personal commentary illustrated with their knowledge and/or experience related to the topic.

The second part of the exam allows the candidate to introduce themselves to the examiner.

Candidates may choose from the following languages: German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, and Literary Arabic.

Only marks above 10/20 are taken into account and weighted.
